Paradise Newquay // Series // 22nd Feb 2011

This photograph was taken when i was on a fishing trip in Newquay, Cornwall. The sunset was incredible. I've never really experienced a sunset on the beach like that before. I think i ended up taking about 50 Photo's in the excitement of it all. There's going to be 2 more images in the series which i'm going to do later in the year for this. Not the greatest of photo's taken on my HTC HD2 but none the less i'm pleased with it. Enjoy!

Forgotten By Time... But always remembered.

 

Been wanting to do a Stock "mash-up" for ages after seeing all the amazing ones on DA so i finally went for it.

Not quite sure what time period this would be from, I was aiming for sort of medieval in a iceland setting although that didn't exist.

Main focus in image is this relic/monument that was being guarded at the top of the mountain. at 100% zoomed in you can see a steep treturous passage up the mountain lit with torches. The idea was that the kingdom which once occupied this fortress had a mystical treasure located at the top of the mountain, hidden away from plain sight,with the secret path up the mountain only visible at night.
Also this cave you see in front of the kingdom is said to have a hidden passage to behind the castle walls up the mountain, but it was never discovered.
